花乡桥东站位于北京市丰台花乡境内，守望南四环，临近花乡奥莱村，历史上曾是花乡区域主要的花卉种植基地之一。花乡的历史可追溯到两千年以前。从汉到隋唐，从辽金到元，从明清到今天，花乡的历史源远流长。
好事成双的连理树顺势而长形成了茂密的树林，蔓延的藤蔓中生活着可爱的动物，像花乡一般洋溢着一番生态和谐的景象。观者视线顺着藤蔓直至天花板顶部，顶部是发光凹顶，像树林中透出的光芒，给观者清新的视觉享受。茂密的藤蔓具有视觉冲击力，又与天顶形成疏密关系营造疏密有致的节奏感。藤蔓可蔓延到环境周围的立柱上，和站内条状设计完美的结合。

Home of Flowers
This station, located in Huaxiang, Fengtai District, Beijing, is next to the South Fourth Ring Road and the Floral Village. In the past, it was once one of the major flower planting bases in Huaxiang. Huaxiang’s history dates back to 2,000 years ago. It evolved and developed from the Han Dynasty to today through many dynasties in between.
This work portrays a pair of conjoined trees that have grown into dense woods. Amidst the spreading vines are cute animals, presenting a scene of ecological harmony like a land of flowers. Moving the eyes along the vines right up to the ceiling, the viewer will see a lit-up concave top which emits rays of light similar to those slanting through the woods, giving the viewer a fresh visual feast. The striking dense vines and the sky-like ceiling stand in contrast, creating a fine sense of rhythm. The vines spread to the surrounding columns, blending perfectly with the strip design of the station.
