On the morning of Jan.29, the first day of the first lunar month, Zeng Peiyan, Vice Premier of State Council came to Wangfujing Station of Subway Line 1 to extend his regards to the subway employees engaged in safe operation, accompanied by, Secretary of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee Liu Qi, Mayor Wang Qishan, and Vice Mayor Ji Lin, Secretary-General of Beijing Municipal Government Liu Xiaochen, Director of Municipal Traffic Commission Zhao Wenzhi, and the leaders of relevant commissions and bureaus.  

Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan and other leaders came to the platform and operation duty room of Wangfujing Subway Station to visit the employees engaged in operation during the festival, and paid a New Year call to them. They pointed out that the workers at work during the festival sacrificed their time to ensure the normal operation of subway, provided convenience for residents, and made their contributions. They showed lofty respect to them for their contributions and extended the festival greeting of the State Council to the subway employees.  

Secretary of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee Liu Qi, Mayor Wang Qishan, Board Chairman of Beijing Subway Wang Dexing, and General Manager Xie Zhengguang introduced to Vice Premier Zeng Peiyan the current routes and the safe operation situation concerning Beijing subway.
