In order to further strengthen innovation awareness, intensify the efforts of innovation, and make new achievements, the CPC Committee of Beijing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission conducted the selection of “innovation award” of publicity and ideological work among various enterprises and government-funded institutions in 2005. The publicity and ideological work of our company centered on subway development, stabilized the general situation, and conducted diversified and fruitful innovation activities, of which, the “Subway operation with civilized etiquette” activity turned out outstanding effect. On Mar.1, 2006, Beijing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission held awarding conference. The activity of Beijing Subway won the first prize for “innovation award” of publicity and ideological work in 2005.
For a year, Publicity Department and Civilization Office of Beijing Subway have been working on the theme of “Treasure up Olympics, Etiquette-based Subway”. With focus on social etiquette and vocational etiquette, they have been making positive efforts to motivate the whole staff and passengers’ active participation; with the emphasis on the settlement of outstanding problems while conducting construction and practical activities. They have comprehensively initiated the publicity and education practice of Beijing subway civilized etiquette activity, and have established the five major civilized brands of Beijing subway, i.e. civilized subway-riding, elevator-taking, card-swiping, driving, and etiquette; through these activities, they have reached the goal of enhancing etiquette awareness, popularizing etiquette knowledge, and improving the etiquette standard and service of Beijing subway in a civilized and harmonious atmosphere.
