Establishing Capital Civilized Sector, and Forging “New Subway” Brand
On the morning of Jun.28, the Capital Civilization Office convened the Working Conference on the Preliminary Assessment of Beijing Subway for the Establishment of Capital Civilized Sector. Ma Runhai, Deputy Director of Capital Civilization Office, Xie Yanhui, Inspector of Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission, Zhou Yinliang, Assistant Inspector and Director of Publicity Section of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission as well as various members of the Assessment Committee of Capital Civilized Sectors and the members of the Assessment Group attended the conference. Wang Dexing, Xie Zhengguang, Qi Shuzhi, Zhang Shuren, Li Weihong, Zhan Minghui, Xu Xiaolin, You Xingquan, Li Shankun, Chen Aihua of Subway Company were present; major heads of the departments and sections of administrative organs of the Company and the major heads of CPC affairs of secondary units participated in the conference.
Zhang Changjiang, Director of Establishment Section of the Office of Capital Spiritual Civilization Construction Commission, chaired the conference; General Manager of Subway Company delivered welcoming speech; Mr. Wang Dexing, Secretary of CPC Subway Company Committee and Board Chairman of the company delivered work report titled Establishing Capital Civilized Sector, Forging “New Subway” Brand, and Improving the Civilization of Beijing Subway Operation; since the secondary adjustment of Beijing subway system in November 2003, the Company has been working carefully to practice the important thoughts of “Three Represents” and the spirit of 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China and the 3rd and 4th Plenary Sessions of the 16th CPC Central Committee, establish and implement scientific outlook on development, and uphold the work guidelines, i.e. “Safety is the foundation, service is the root, efficiency is the goal, management is the means, and reform is the momentum”. The Company has been conducting in-depth activities to establish civilized sector, enabling the enterprise to have favorable trend for the mutual promotion and harmonious development of spiritual civilization and material civilization. The Company has completed safe operation tasks and various economic indices comprehensively. The constant achievements in spiritual civilization construction have established favorable environment for the enterprise reform and development. In 2001, the Company passed the inspection of the municipal assessment of regulated service. In 2003, Beijing Subway was awarded the title National Advanced Entity in Establishing Civilized Sector. During the five years, 21 entities obtained the title of the municipal civilized entities, and cultivated lots of national and municipal advanced units and labor models, establishing the outstanding image of Beijing Subway. The report covered the work of Beijing Subway on establishing civilized sector in the five years in five aspects. Firstly, promoting work in an all-round way and making great efforts to intensify spiritual civilization construction; secondly, spurring enterprise development comprehensively so as to make safety, service and efficiency exhibit a favorable trend; thirdly, strengthening education and training positively so as to improve the overall calibers of enterprise employees; fourthly, improving the civilization of the sector, and making efforts to forge “New Subway” brand; fifthly, carrying out establishing activities, reinforcing social supervision and striving to maintain civilized and harmonious environment.
At present, all the people of the company have been well prepared. We are confident that under the leadership of the Capital Civilization Office and the guidance of the Assessment Group, we will lead the whole staff to strive to pass the assessment with outstanding achievements so as to realize the goals of the capital civilized sector.
The members of the Assessment Committee, the representatives of the Assessment Group, from various perspectives of the municipal Complaint Office, Consumers Association, media of Beijing Daily Group, and Office for Rectifying of Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission, gave affirmation of the work of Beijing Subway on establishing capital civilized sector, and proposed positive suggestions.
During his speech, Zhou Yinliang, Assistant Inspector and Director of Publicity Section of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, gave full affirmation of the work of Beijing Subway on establishing capital civilized sector, and proposed requirements for the work of Beijing Subway in the future.
Ma Runhai, Deputy Director of Capital Civilization Office, gave full affirmation of the work of Beijing Subway on establishing capital civilized sector in his speech, pointing out that as for the work, focus shall be placed on “advance”, i.e. always giving top priority; first class work with emphasis on “features”, and going well up to bridle to seek enterprise development. In addition, Ma proposed requirements for the work of Beijing Subway on establishing capital civilized sector in the future. Firstly, widely motivating subway employees to be enthusiastic and self-conscious to establish civilized sector; secondly, gibing prominence to the theme so as to further intensify the pertinence and timeliness of establishing civilized sector; thirdly, strengthening research and enhancing the source and momentum for the development of Beijing Subway.
After the conference, the major party and administrative leaders of the Company highlighted that focus shall be placed on the work to establish civilized sector, which should be regarded as the important work in the later half of the year. It should be put on the schedule and careful arrangement should be made; in the meantime, efforts should be made to maintain safe operation, good service, and equipment restructuring.
It was said that on the afternoon of Jun.28, the Office of the Leadership Group for Establishing Civilized Sector of the Company and the members of the Assessment Group held the first working coordination meeting to research and discuss the program for the preliminary work in the first stage.
