The equipment of electro mechanics is an important part for the operation of subway. It mainly includes: ventilation air conditioning system, water supply and drainage system, system of lighting for power provision, disaster prevention warning system, low-voltage electricity distribution system, auto staircase system and its monitoring system, automatic environment control system, disaster prevention and fire extinguishing system. The major functions of these systems are to equip the stations with the basic functions of ventilation, air conditioning, water supply and drainage, lighting and staircase and to realize auto monitoring of these electro mechanical equipment through auto environment control system and control the equipment at stations through disaster prevention warning and fire extinguishing system and automatically cut the power supply for all the equipment that is not for disaster prevention use when disaster occurs. 

For loop line I, as it was completed in the 1960s and 1970s, its level of automation is relatively low. Now, there are no air conditioning and disaster prevention system for loop line 1. In stead, it adopts mechanical ventilation system and the number of automatic staircase increased from the first 18 to the current 97. 

The electro mechanical equipment of Line 13 and Line Ba-Tong is composed of the systems of ventilation air conditioning, water supply and drainage, lighting for power provision, disaster prevention warning, automatic environment control and electrical boiler. There are 43 automatic escalators for Line 13 and 24 automatic escalators and 18 hydraulic pressure elevators for Line Ba-Tong.
