Gu’cheng Depot locates at Yang’zhuang of Shi’jing’shan, between Gu’chen and Ping’guo’yuan, covering an area of 23 hectors. Completed in 1969, it was the first unit established by Beijing Subway to provide special repair service for the subway’s electricity-powered passenger trains.

Si’hui depot locates at Ba’wang’fen at Chaoyang district, covering an area of 43 hectors. It was completed in 1999 and since then has shared the passenger transportation task with Line 1 whose average daily passenger volume is 700,000 person-times with the peak at 1.21 million. Gu’cheng and Si’hui depot are responsible for all the repair work like on-frame repair, regular repair, monthly repair, train examination, which secures the provision of sufficient quality power-driven passenger trains.

Tai’ping’hu depot locates at No. 5, De’sheng’men’xi’da’je, between Xi’zhi’men and Ji’shui’tan north to the Northern Second Ring Road, covering an area of 13 hectors. Since it was built in 1982, this depot has been responsible for the operation of the loop line, handling an average daily passenger volume of 800,000 person-times, with the peak reaching 1.34 million. The depot is responsible for all the repair work like on-frame repair, regular repair, monthly repair, train examination for the power driven passenger trains on loop line, which secures the provision of sufficient quality power-driven passenger trains on the loop line.

Hui’long’guan depot lies south to Hua’jia’ying’cun of Chang’ping County, north to Lan’ge’zhuang and north-east to the Huo’ying Station of the city railway line, covering an area of 39.54 hectors which is divided into three parts: operational section of train, comprehensive repair base and living facilities area. Since it was built in September 2002, it has been responsible for the operation of Line 13 of the city railway line. By October, 2003, the average daily passenger volume is 90,000 person-times, with peak reaching 140,000 people. Tu’qiao depot lies at Zhang’jia’wan County of Tong’zhou District of Beijing, covering an area of 23.9 hectors. The depot was built on December 18, 2003 and is responsible for the operation of the 10-kilometer’s Line Ba-Tong and the repair and maintenance work of the power driven passenger trains on this Line.
