1、 Tickets or IC Cards are required to enter subway. Those using forged, altered, counterfeit, expired or invalid tickets are subject to punishment according to Regulations on Beijing Subway Tickets.  
2、 Luggage occupying the space of one seat requires a ticket. Tickets must be bought for children above 1.2 meters.
3、 No inflammable, explosive, toxic, caustic, radioactive or hazardous materials (detonator, dynamite, firecrackers, gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, paint, calcium carbide, LPG, controlled knives, acids, etc.) or other dangerous materials may be brought into the subway.
4、 No person may carry on or bring into the subway any item that:
- is longer than 1.8 meters,
-is fragile (glass or glassware, etc.),
-is bulky (bicycle, washing machine, TV set, computer monitor, fridge, etc.),
or other items or animals that constitute a hazard to the operation of the subway, interfere with passenger mobility, or create an unsanitary condition.
5、 All passengers will:
comply with all lawful orders and directives of subway employees acting within the scope of their responsibilities and obey any instructions of subway employees in case of emergency.
6、 No person may lie on the floor or platform or engage in any activity which interferes with the access onto or off the platform, or otherwise interferes with or impedes the free movement of passengers. Artistic performances, free distribution of promotional goods or materials, panhandling or begging in or on the subway is prohibited. Stand on the right and pass on the left when using escalators.

7、 No person on or in the subway may conduct himself or herself in any manner which causes or tends to cause annoyance, alarm or inconvenience to a reasonable person or creates a breach of the peace.
8、 No person may destroy or remove, damage or tamper with any facility or sign. No person may attempt to use emergency facilities unless an emergency requires it. Crossing over or destroying a guard or safety rail is strictly prohibited.

9、 No person, except as specifically authorized, may enter or attempt to enter any area not open to the public, including but not limited to tracks, tunnels, or any area marked with a sign restricting access or indicating a dangerous environment.
10、 No person on or in the subway may throw, drop or cause to be propelled any stone, projectile or other article at, from, upon, in or on the train, locomotive, mobile machinery shop or other facilities. No person shall damage or interfere with mechanical or electrical equipment, aerial cables or communication signal systems.
11、 The drunk, disabled, elderly, preschoolers or children under 1.2 meters should be accompanied by an adult, or ask station staff for help. 
12、 Any person committing one or more violations of these rules shall be transferred to the judicial department or other competent authority for appropriate action.
